Our Story
Nick’s Bar-B-Que & Catering was founded as a means to pursue my dream of food service as coupled with my love of barbecue and passion for cooking. There is little that compares with the reactions on the faces of those who you touch through your food. with a passion for authentic barbecue and a commitment to quality. Our journey began in a small kitchen, where we experimented with recipes and perfected our smoking techniques. Over the years, we have grown into a beloved catering service, known for our rich flavors and warm hospitality. We take pride in using only the freshest ingredients and traditional methods to create dishes that bring people together. Join us as we continue to share our love for barbecue with the community!
While the business is named after the founder of this business – Nick Meade – the rest of the name is intentional. Bar-B-Que is synonymous with smoked meats and accompanying sides. The flavors, the wood, and the cuts of meat may change depending on where you are in the continenal United States, but the magic remains the same. The “Bar” also represents the future intention to be able to offer bartending or liquor services along with or in place of catering food for events. The “Que” along with the colors used on this site reflect my love of and committment to Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. through which I serve and uplift the community. My food is one of the ways I choose to serve others.
